School magazine analysis: Sennockian

The title of the magazine is called the Sennockian. This is due to the history of the school and where it is. The writing is a very odd font but helps create the idea of the magazine being a very cultural magazine. It covers the whole length of the cover, doing this means it stands out and creates awareness of the school. Having very little text else where on the page enables to make it very easy to find this magazine and makes it stand out very well.
The background of the cover resembles the cultural background of the school. The colour itself is a bright orange and has in the background a picture of religious meaning. All of these show cultural background and help show the idea of what is inside the magazine.
The picture is an old drawing of a young boy. Unlike other magazines being sold, the Sennockian is keeping its history at the front of the magazine. The picture helps portray the idea of culture and also shows who they expect to read the magazine. The target audience of the magazine would be of either people who are interested in culture and non-fiction or who attends the school.
