School magazine analysis: Chenders

Here the masthead of the magazine is written in informal font and is written across the whole width. Having it so spread out means it’s creating an awareness of the magazine and only helps make the magazine more noticeable. With the font being written in such an informal way it helps attract the chosen target audience of the kids at school.
The features to the right show what is on offer inside. The colour green is used show the theme of the magazine and also presents the magazine as a simple magazine that isn’t an effort to read. Using two colours on the features creates a clash of colour and helps make the features become alot more noticable.
The features on the bottom of the page show information in the magazine that customers would be interested in. Offering information about what is on offer during school means it’s a handy magazine to read. With the colours of white and read being used together they make that feature stand out even more as they are the only pieces of white text.
They used of pictures to link to plugs and main articles. Doing this only improves the interest of the articles as people will have a clearer idea of what it is about. The magazine also has small pictures for the features themself, they offer a bigger glimpse of what is inside the magazine.
On the magazine the plugs are like a sticker, this is less formal and creates a slight relationship between reader and writer. They help show the appealing price and make it known that they could be on offer for a short period of time.
